At Papa Nick Electric, we believe that electrical work is about more than just wires and switches—it’s about keeping your home safe and your family comfortable. First and foremost, we are a locally owned business built on a foundation of hard work, family values, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
Leading the team is President and Owner Nick Harding, a veteran electrician who has been serving the Pierce County community for decades.
Nick’s journey into the trade began long before he ever picked up a pair of pliers. Growing up, he was exposed to the electrical world at a young age, watching and learning from his father, who was also an electrician. Consequently, the trade is in his blood.
He started his full-time career wiring new custom homes, mastering the art of clean, precise installations. Later, his dedication to excellence led him to the prestigious IBEW Local 76 Union. During this time, Nick honed his skills working on complex residential projects and large-scale military housing at Fort Lewis.
However, the path wasn’t always easy. When the housing market crashed in 2008, the construction world changed overnight. Instead of giving up, Nick adapted. He was forced to “follow the work,” which transformed him into a specialty service professional.
As a result, Nick became proficient in all aspects of the residential realm—from troubleshooting 100-year-old knob-and-tube wiring to installing modern smart home systems. This specific experience is why Papa Nick Electric is the best choice for troubleshooting and repairs today.
Above all, Nick operates with a simple philosophy: be a servant first.
“I take much appreciation in providing permanent solutions for every one of my clients. My emphasis is always on quality and durability—I want to fix it once, and fix it right.” — Nick Harding
Therefore, when you hire Papa Nick Electric, you aren’t getting a quick patch-job. You are getting a solution designed to last.
In addition to his passion for electrical work, Nick is a family man. In his down time, he enjoys traveling with his family and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
Furthermore, if he isn’t in a service van or with his family, you can probably find him on the links. Nick has a serious passion for golf—so feel free to ask him about his handicap when he comes over to give you an estimate!
